About Me

Austin has been home for almost 15 years now. It was here I had my most salient experiences with creating. I remember the many times growing up trying to get my hands on the Panasonic point and shoot that belonged to my mother. When I was successful at convincing her to let me borrow it, I spent what felt like hours documenting the passing world around me. My gear has changed along with my skills, but the draw to document the present still resonates so deeply.

This is why wedding days are so important to me. In such a short period of time, I get to learn so much about my clients and the things they value. And in that short period of time, I get to capture the details, the emotions, the quiet in-between moments, and the love shared between two people, all of which are passed down to future generations. It’s a privilege I don’t take lightly.

When I don’t have a camera in hand, you can find me out at town lake trail taking in the sights, getting my hands dirty in my garden, planning a hypothetical road trip, or attempting to make a sourdough loaf.
